Heads up! Road Work and Temporary Closure on 6020 Road & Uproute Trail

From June 18 to June 30, you may encounter equipment operations along the 6020 Road in the Oak Creek area. Contractors will be decommissioning the upper portion of the road and removing drainage features to help improve water quality. Once this work is complete, the upper section of the 6020 Road will transition into a trail for your continued enjoyment.

Beginning July 1, this project will include a temporary closure of the upper 6020 Road and the Uproute Trail. The closure is expected to last several days. A Forest Update will be issued once all closures have been lifted.
